This park is the most stunning park I've ever seen, well worth visiting. The locals usually take along a couple of beers and watch the light show at the end of the day.

Planten and Blomen is a beautiful place to walk around and just unwind. The gardens are varied and full of wonderful colors, smells and combination of plants. One of the best ways to experience the park is to go late in the day and explore. Bring a picnic dinner and and a blanket and get a place near the big... More

The water fountain is not impressive at all. At least not during the day. It might be much better at nights with lights and music. So I would suggest doing the late night show of the fountains. It's for free anyways The gardens however are really pretty and well maintained.

Easy to access with U-Bahn. Many chairs available to relax on, or just bring a blanket for the many grassy fields. A picnic-lover's dream!

When i come back to Hamburg ( life there from 1983 - 1992) i have to go to Planten un Blomen. It is so quiet and relaxing and the Plants and flowers are beautyful. The water light concerts are amazing. I really love it.

Accidentally we started a walk in this park and we were surprised by its beaty. The park is designed in different parts with different type of flowers, plants and trees. There are plenty of wooden chairs that you can take for free to relax in the sunny park. Other areas are specially developed for kids. At sunday it looks like... More
