Bustling, historic river scene is fascinating. The canal boat tour offers insights to old city too. Worth the cost and the time.

We didn't walk much of the port, but we saw it from above. From MAS and from the Elbphilharmonie. It is huge and probably nice to stroll around.

I went there twice, first on a rainy day and second on a sunny day. Of course, the sunny day is perfect to visit and take a cruise ride to see Port of Hamburg.

It is really worth taking the night tour y the boat. Hamburg was very charming from the waters.. so you get to see a different perspective. Thumbs up! I had dinner at the Portuguese Quarter just across the street. Nice restaurants.

This area is all being redeveloped. Nice to go for a walk and explore the history of Hamburg Port and its maritime past. Go for a nice coffee if there in December.
