This Roman Catholic church stands at the end of the main pedestrian shopping street of Potsdam (Brandenburger Strasse). The church was completed in 1870. It is a landmark for visitors, as it is next to the large carpark where the tour buses park.
Having had a walk round the Dutch quarter we decided to have a look in this beautiful church . With beautiful murals and not overly ornate this is a very pleasant church to spend a wee bit of meditation before going back to the crowds

My first view of the church was turning into Brandenburg Strasse. The late afternoon sun illuminated the front of the church making it glow. Inside the the decor reminded me of orthodox Byzantine churches. It had a warm welcoming feel and was worth calling in.
