These gardens are huge, with lots of cycle paths to and around them, so best hire a bike. You can get the bikes right at the train station. Unfortunately you can't ride right up to some of the amazing buildings, but there are racks at points to lock your bikes up to while you get a bit closer. Great day... More

We walked through the park in the early morning. It was beautifully quiet. Only a few joggers and us.

These are easily reached to/from Sansoucci Park. Both of which are lovely to walk around and explore. So many pretty gardens, structures, and just quiet... peace.

Entry is free and it would take a good 3-4 energetic hours to traverse its main pedestrian axis pathways and its many meandering byways. Mature European trees, large lush green lawn areas, cultures, fountains. The park is pretty big and easily absorbs even the mid... More

Get a bike and cycle around. Although you need to get off the bike to walk through certain parts of the garden it's the best way to get around and appreciate the environs.

Perfect for a romatic walk as well as to spend a whole afternoon with your family there. I was there on a Saturday afternoon in July and was not overcrowded. Walking around the big trees, old buildings, by the lake I felt like being in a fairy tale :) Really enjoyed it.

After almost a week of going to museums and shopping in Berlin, I was ready for some fresh air. The palaces are spectacular, but their gardens and wooded areas provide the perfect setting for showing off that architecture. Check out the green houses and nursery to see where the plants that fill out the formal gardens are grown. But be... More
