Potsdam is a place of significance but there was insufficient time allowed so we did not get to see the town itself. It was interesting seeing "the bridge of spies", the old Russian quarter, the Dutch area and the Sans Soucci palace but the town itself seemed interesting as we drove through it but we did not have the opportunity... Arrived in Potsdam with the view to walk around some of the sights in particular the Glienicker Bridge, famous as the place where the exchange of spies took place. Discover it would have taken a good 45 minutes to walk there. In the attached photo you can see the change of colour of the paint on the bridge, which marked... More

This tour takes you from downtown Berlin to the Palace in Potsdam on the way you will areas of Potsdam which housed various soviet agencies during the cold war era. At the palace you receive a tour through the palace and get free time to explore the gardens

The City Tour Bus was good once it arrived. We were told 10 minutes and waited for 30 before a bus arrived.. Once on the bus, the audio regarding Potsdam was informative and the city is beautiful. The bus takes an unannounced break, however, we used this time for lunch and a stroll in the Dutch area. It would have... More

Hello jarddeen, Some things you mentioned are - sorry to say - simply wrong. First of all there are four to five of our doubledecker - busses on the circle every day and we have a bus every 30 min at every station (so there is no break of an hour, never). Every information you need to use our Hop... More

Hello I did the Potsdam Tour with Steve (Aussie) last week as well as Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp (also with guide Steve). Great overview of each place. Steve had said we were the best group he has ever had...not sure if this is true but Im sure it likely is LOL. Would recommend both to anyone heading to Berlin.

Potsdam is a beautiful city and has an interesting history in it's own right. A must for visitors to Berlin. We joined the tour getting a discount by using our Berlin Welcome Card. The sales lady said that the next tour would have a live commentary in English. When on the bus the tour guide asked who were English speakers... More

I say worst Potsdam tour mainly for English speaking tourist - I read the reviews and still thought to go ahead given there was little choice in terms of tours available in Potsdam. Trust me when I say trust the reviews. It's really not worth it for Any tourist who doesn't speak German. There is live commentary for German speaking... More

It was a wonderful tour. A great place to get away from fast pace Berlin. Everything look so beautiful and peaceful in Potsdam. I am so glad I booked the tour as Potsdam was way bigger than I have initially thought. I would be totally lost by myself. The tour start at Hackescher Market which is very important to note... Maria was called in at the last moment and was an excellent guide. She helped us negotiate the transport system to get to Potsdam and once there, demonstrated her great knowledge of Potsdam's history. It was a very interesting tour, with quite a bit of easy walking. We had time to have lunch at a local cafe, which gave some... More
