Similar to the Palace of Versailles, this is a must see place if you are in the Berlin as a tourist, lots of tourist shops and activities around it.

Just 12 rooms but beautiful and well decorated. Might seem modest in comparison to other German or French or Italian palaces but Friedrich just wanted a summer retreat. Can you imagine that he built it in just 2 years?

Beautiful and richly decorated palace. If you want to have e look inside, it's best to book tickets beforehand. The gardens are also worth a visit.
