My Mother and friends (with their 3 month old) were visiting me here in Bremerhaven! We decided to go up and check out the Platform view at the top of SAIL City! … It is only 3 Euro per person … and worth every bit of it. It is such a tranquil view of the entire city. You can see... More

Bremerhaven is filled with lovely people, but there is little in the city to see that is either lovely or engaging. I didn't get a chance to see the submarine they have on exhibit. Had I perhaps my opinion would be a bit more positive. The building, about the only sort-of high rise is not interesting, just something to do.... More

You have a perfect 360° view from this two level Platform. You can see the harbor, the city, you can look to the north sea, you can see the nuclear powerplant in the distance. For 3 Euro (cheaper for families and groups) it is totally worth to go to the Viewing Platform SAIL City!

The viewing platform is a great place for photos of the harbor and Bremerhaven. It was extremely WINDY - and cold and gloomy - on the day we went up there. I recommend going there a bit before sunset to capture daylight and then sunset photos.

A terrific spot on the 20th floor to get a hang of the geography, River Weser and huge container terminals at the fourth largest container terminal in Europe where more than 2 million cars arrive a year!

Walk from the Columbus Centre over the Glass Bridge through the foyer of the Klimahause and out the doors at the back then into the lift area on the south east corner. Buy your ticket from the machine for your ride to the top, step out onto the viewing platform for what you may think as the view of a... More

We did not visited inside as the weather was wonderful. Kids wanted to spend time outside. The place being on the river beach is safe and beautiful day time also filled with lights during night.
