We drove to Bremerhaven in a windy day. To me, the submarine was the best thing we visited there. It was like a time machine. In each section of the submarine you could hear the sounds that soldiers would hear. It was very well-maintained and...More

Came across this attraction while stopping off on a cruise in Bremerhaven. The entrance fee of 3 euros was well worth it. I didn't realise there was a reduced rate for senior citizens, but I'm glad I didn't opt for it as the price of...More

Really good and very interesting submarine to visit. All information is nicely presented and very enthusiastic staff welcome you onto the boat. It is amazing to think that this was scuttled and remained on the seabed for some 15 years before being recovered and made...More

A very well presented late WWII submarine that gives an excellent impression of the cramped conditions in which 50+ men lived & worked for weeks at a time. Thankfully the smells & feelings of danger & panic are missing!
