We drove to Bremerhaven in a windy day. To me, the submarine was the best thing we visited there. It was like a time machine. In each section of the submarine you could hear the sounds that soldiers would hear. It was very well-maintained and...More

Came across this attraction while stopping off on a cruise in Bremerhaven. The entrance fee of 3 euros was well worth it. I didn't realise there was a reduced rate for senior citizens, but I'm glad I didn't opt for it as the price of...More

A very well presented late WWII submarine that gives an excellent impression of the cramped conditions in which 50+ men lived & worked for weeks at a time. Thankfully the smells & feelings of danger & panic are missing!

I purchased this model at a show 1-2 years ago. Since, I was already in Bremerhaven Germany to see where I was born. I needed to see the Wilhelm Bauer. I must say for the cost(4 euro's) it was well worth it. I will say...More
