I wanted to go inside, but it was already closed. It did look great from the outside. If I am going back to Bremen, I'd like to see the interior of this Rathaus.

We went on a conducted tour of this historic building and were regaled with Classical Music during the Weeks Festival back in September 15. The acoustics were remarkable and the whole experience was very moving.

The town hall in my opinion was one of the beautiful buildings in the city, combining the typical atmosphere of the city and the remarkable structures of the construction. Definitely a building to see if you stay in Bremen.

This must be the best restaurant in Bremen for it's history. It was very busy and booking is essential at the weekend and often at other times. The food is good but the service can be a little slow leaving you plenty of time to admire the interior of the building.

Inside is a depressing history of eugenics in Germany... Across the square at the church were anti-semitic protestors, calling for the Palestinians to drive the Israelis into the sea (all were old German people). In the square there were people complaining about the Turkish people in Germany.

The current exhibition I think is a must see. It is an incredibly moving story of the policy of Eugenics perpetrated by the Nazi regime and the victims that were murdered or forcibly sterilised. It is heartbreaking to read the stories of these people and how little they were valued. It also made me realise that so many incredible and... More

The town hall is lovely. Currently there is a solemn, yet moving exhibit on the atrocities of WWII. The personal stories of locals are told in German and English.
