Certainly worth a visit - little brick laid alleys with shops and restaurants, people and something or the other going on! Also, see Robinson Crusoe’s house and the Atlantis house! Opposite and across from St Peter’s cathedral. Must go when in the area!

One of those areas that you would assume is verrrrry old, but actually most of it was built in the early 20th century. It's incredibly charming and worth seeing. Try to time your visit to hear the glockenspiel at noon, three pm and 6 pm.

This side of the old town ic nice with plenty of shops to visit on your way to the famous Schnoor area. Still great spot to see and enjoy.

Found this street when looking for the tourist info centre which is located here. That in itself is very good as are the shops and historic building here too. Only a small area but good to enjoy a beer in the pub here too

Not comparable to Schnoor. It is pretty, but it is really not that old and most of the shopping is expensive glassware.

This looks old, but is a 1920's and 30's reconstruction from a historicists perspective. Its often very busy with tourists, and the shops are clearly geared for that market...fine if that is what you want. The carillon of ceramic bells sounds 3 times a day,...More

This block or two long mideavl walking street (more like an alley) is marvelous. It contains a tourist office, many craft shops, bars, and the very unusual Glockenspiel. It opens onto the old town Marktplaz.

Bremen is of course an old city of fables come to life. This is one of the areas you can see and think back to Grimm's fairy tales and dream of their inspirations.
