Enjoy a 1 hour tour through the old and new part of Berlin. Our ships have a panoramic glass roof for a perfect view for sailings in the cold season. Our guides provide you with all the fun facts and historical background to make this an enjoyable cruise. During the trip we pass the historical as well as the governmental district. Drinks are provided on the ship. We hope to welcome you soon on board of one of our ships.

Me and my partner are living in Berlin since 8 years. We brought the in-laws onboard and was guided by Alexander. He made us all (and all others onboard) laugh. He introduced us with warm and respectful humour to the city Berlins history. Even through our long time in town we also learned something new.
The guide also took time to walk around to all passengers to ensure no answers was unanswered. Felt very respectful and careful for us as guests.
It was a good invested hour for a good laugh, a beer and left with some new fact about our new home. All staff where friendly and helpful. We will widely recommend this business to visiting friends & family members in the future.

One year ago I did this city trip by boat the first time and in my memories the best part was our boat guide, Waltraud- Anneliese "Anna" ☺ so ist booked the tour again and I only can recommend to everybody, who looks for information with a funny twist. Very charming, very good service on board and a save trip trough the crowded Spree. 100 points! 💐

I was on the boat tours in Berlin before, but this one was absolutely the best of them all. The boats - Carola and Franziska - are smaller than other cruisers, which was a big plus for me, because they weren't so crowded. The seats were comfortable (not plastic!).
The trip was really relaxing and amusing. The crew was very nice and helpful. Our guide, Anna, was lovely and gave professional, but also funny commentary in both German and English. She made sure we all understood what she was telling us.
Also worth mentioning that the tour was cheaper than all of the rest nearby - it costs 12 euro, while the others charged 17 euro. Highly recommended!

Not a very good experience. There was a real lack of structure in what the guide told. It was very messy and marked by personal views, for example about the government, the entrance fees to various of the city's attractions etc. Suddenly she started talking on her phone and searched informations on Google. So try to find another company with a more professional guide, so you get to know more about what you see from the boat.
Also be aware, that you can't pay by credit card, so you can't buy tickets or food/drinks on the boat if you don't have any cash. Not very tourist friendly.

At 10 euro with welcome card it is quite affordable. The staff is nice, you can order srinks/snacks - decentlu priced. The only complaint is that the English audio is about 1/4 of the German audio so not very informative. However, a nice river cruise on a hot day.

Thank you for your review. I want to clarify that we do not use Audio though. We don't even have a tape. We only work with guides who provide live commentary. And they speak 1/2 in English and 1/2 in German. We advise our guests to ask for the ships Carola and Franziska. The audio guided tour you mention is operated by a different company.

I read positive reviews about them and decided to give it a try after visiting Berliner Dom and climbing 270 steps up. I was glad that Anna was our guide. She’s so informative and ensured that a non-German speaking tourist like me could understand. She even took an extra few mins to tell me about East and West Berlin history. It had been a really entertaining trip. Thank you Anna!

Only these two out of three ships that use our pier belong to our shipping company and use a guide that does the commentary in German and English!

Very entertaining and enjoyable tour. Our guide, speaking both in English and German managed to balance being informative and amusing.
For me it was good to hear a local voice expressing opinions about various aspects of the city rather than just a bland scripted list of what we were seeing.
The tour time of around one hour was also, for our itinerary, a perfect length.
Recommended.

Absolutely fantastic river cruise, great value at €10 with the WelcomeCard discount.
Our young guide (as he said after his introduction in German "thank God he speaks English!") was very good at explaining what we were passing when it was important, and interacting with people on the bank and making jokes, mostly at the average Berliner's expense, at other times.
There was a quiet period on the return journey when he walked up and down the boat to take questions and make sure we were all enjoying the cruise.

What an amazing hour we spent seeing Berlin from the water. Our guide (pictured) narrated in person (rather than having a pre recorded audio version) which made it even better. The trip was only 1hr - an absolute must.

The dock was very easy to locate along River Spree. The boat ride started timely with great information shared during the boat tour. We greatly enjoyed it. The host was very knowledgeable with a great sense of humor. He spent some time getting to know his customers and he was very friendly. We highly recommend this boat tour with this great company!!

Can children under 6 yrs old and a baby go on the tour?

The seats are fine for adults. We did not have any small children on our recent trip. Check with the company though and they are great about responding. The best in Berlin.

Sorry for the late answer. We do not take bookings or reservations. Only for groups of 15 guests or more. Please note that usually only 2 of the 3 ships using the pier are from our company and provide live commentary. A third ship from a different company often runs the tours with audio guide. For that reason I now have published a timetable where guests can see the departure times for the next two weeks on our facebook site. Please enter Reederei Hadynski. The times change every Monday and there always will be an update. There is always availability on the ship. We suggest you be at the pier 15 minutes prior to departure and on public holidays or the weekend if the weather is nice 30 minutes before. Kind regards

We share the pier with another company and 1 of 3 sailings each day might be with an audio guide. From now on we publish the departure times of our ships (Carola and Franziska) with live commentary with a weekly update on Facebook. Please search for Reederei Hadynski. It might happen twice each year that for reasons we can´t control these times change on short notice. In this case there also will be an update.

Hi thank you for your question. Alexander isn't working on the 14th of September. However rest assured all our guides are doing a great job and are entertaining our guests. That is a job criteria otherwise they wouldn't be working for the company.
And on the 14th of September there are tours with live commentary at the following times:
11:00,11:30, 12:30, 13:00, 14:00, 14:30, 15:30, 16:00 and 17:00.
I´m sure you´ll enjoy the tour! The ship always arrives 30 minutes prior to departure.
We are also still working on the online ticket system. Turns out it takes much longer than we expected ;-(
We let you know if it will be available until your tour. For now you get the ticket at the pier.
