We wanted to experience Berlin’s famous gay scene. We decided to visit the closest gay bar to our hotel, which was the Bar St.Jean. Gay it may have been, but empty it most certainly was. We sat outside and had a perfectly pleasant bottle of...More

Doing a tour of the gay bars, we nipped in here on a very cold night. There was a much younger, much more attractive crowd which we enjoyed and we were served quickly. €8 for two large beers which was nice. We hung out coats...More

We hit the Saint Jean on Saturday evening and the place was packed. Very good selection of drinks, nice music and good atmosphere. Very popular spot on the weekends. Prices reasonable for this location. I will definitely come back :)

Simple and straight to the point! Minimal decoration, excellent cocktails, cool music and interesting crowd. Do not miss it if you are in East Berlin. Visited twice on the NY 17 eve and the day before. Pity the next days was closed...Couldnt find a replacement!...More

Spent 4 nights in this bar, and each time had a blast with both the locals and the tourists. The signature drink is the Moscow Mule, what a delicious drink it is. The barman are very nice.

Hipster bar but the staff was too cool for politeness. There are some nice clientelles tho, if you decide to visit, do go for the hot people, expect less from the drinks.
