Neighborhood: Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighborhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Hands down one of the best bars in all of Berlin, but without a doubt the BEST in Prenzlauer Berg!!
The staff and owners are wonderful, attentive, and above all friendly which is unfortunately a rare thing in Berlin. Go there once, you’ll understand, go there twice, you’ll feel at home. Trust me.
The prices are very affordable, and they know how to make a drink! Let me also give an honorable mention to their version of happy hour aka Angry Hour (classic, LOL).
The regulars there are some of the most charming, funny, and genuine folks from all over the world. I’ve been lucky to get to know quite a few of them and it’s always a good time with no drama!

Really nice staff, always good music playing (sometimes even live) and the crowd is pleasant. Good mix of locals and people from all over the world. The drinks are exceptional, too. Great bar!

Excellent little dive bar. EXCELLENT Bloody marys. Great chat and service. Really good atmosphere, not pretentious at all. Just all round good vibes. Went here with some friends. Ended up staying for hours. Can't wait to go back.

Very friendly atmosphere, great selection of drinks (especially if you're a whisky fan) and good vibes both when it's quiet and busy. Music is always great. Perfect for those winter nights.

Came across this place on trip advisor. It's nicely tucked away on a quiet street in Berlin. What a place! Delicious beers, very cheap. Service and atmosphere were fantastic. It seems like a real local spot but we were made feel very welcome there, despite us clearly not being locals! If I return to Berlin I will definitely be re-visiting this place. We went on a Thursday night and stayed there until 3.30am - and they still weren't closed when we left.

Amazing atmosphere and service. The place is cosy and intimate, with a brilliant playlist of long-time favourites tipping away in the background. The range of craft beers and whiskeys is so impressive and if you're in the mood of a cocktail, ask for Morgan, and he'll make you one of the best you've ever had! Without doubt the best bar I visited in Berlin, I would recommend it to anyone!

We found this place when we were in Berlin for a few days recently and had so much fun we just kept coming back!
The frozen margaritas are the best I've ever had (but careful, they are very strong!), the staff are so friendly and the music is great. Definitely my favourite spot in Berlin.

Absolutely love this place! The best Bloody Marys I've experienced in Berlin for a start. Not to mention that the staff are so friendly and welcoming.
An old-style jukebox as well for that retro feel and music that makes the craft beer and whiskeys taste even sweeter,
Don't be scared to ask for a shot of their famous Eggleback either. It's awesome!

Went for a couple of drinks with friends.
Great selection of beers and a genuinely amazingly friendly barman. Cool atmosphere and can imagine its even better when busier.
