Beautiful view but not expecting

It seems like it dancing place but it's not really. I mean people just standing there and music was not really driving more like a lounge.

If you like clubbing then you should definitely go to Watergate. Very nice place and very good music. I have been there three times and every time it was great. The best DJs.

Really? You let me wait for an hour in a queue just to let me down at the door without any reasonable meaning? I'm going clubbing since more than 20 years and I'm no younger anymore. I'm just sick of these clubs and people like this. This is NOT cool and It's no good for music, people and Humanity. Despite... More

One of the most select club in Berlin. Must be seen... If you're not familiar with that place you'd better know the lineup in case of doorman asking it, otherwise you won't be admitted..

Have been here 5/6 times now. Amazing club. Inside are 2 floors. The main room, upstairs with LED lighting across the ceiling, and the Waterfloor (downstairs) with a view onto the Spree. Getting in can be tough if you are a group of non-german lads. So best to split into couples. If you are coming with a girl you shouldn't... More

We went at a night that sven vath was on the decks so we have a lot of dancing and fun. The policy especially on Saturdays is very strict when they see a company over 2 guys and no woman. Maybe they will refuse to you to get in if you dont have with you a girlfriend. Fortunately we went... More

I have been to Watergate a couple of times when visiting Berlin and whilst it has its good points (great location on the water and in my experience easy to get in to), I really do not like this place. Firstly, it is very small and overcrowded. Hard to dance and enjoy yourself when packed in like sardines. Secondly, very... More

Of course they have a door policy. Once (if) you get in it's nice, not too big and quite a young crowd. Easy (slow) techno beats, no so much power. The led lightning and sound system are good.

So, to set the scene, queued up for 90 mins at Tresor just to be refused entry so came here. (turns out this is THE club to go to when Tresor tell you to jog on.) The club is located next to the Watergate bridge on the banks of the Spree not far from Berghain. Theres a few U-Bahn stops... More

Staying in Kreuzberg

Neighborhood Profile
Kreuzberg
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighborhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and 60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and 90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighborhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.
