Berlin is perfectly suited to a beer bike as it is mostly flat. About 15 of you can fit on a bike and will have your own beer tap to drink from as you pedal around the city. Very well organised, don't be put off by the breathalyser before you get on the bike, they've had a bit of grief from the local government and are making sure everyones in a fit state to get on. Don't worry, you will get plenty to drink while on the bike and can play your own music too!

I have to admit that based on previous reviews I was worried that we'd turn up sober and get turned away. But it was fine. The Bier Bike was a lot of fun and a great way to see some of the sites of Berlin. Our guide was friendly, but if you want a detailed tour of the sites you see then it might be better to pay extra for an actual tour guide, as he didn't really volunteer any information, we had to ask. Re: drinks - When the rental agreement was emailed to me, it said that we could order drinks on the day. Well, when we got there and asked for 10L of mulled wine, at first we were told we needed to have ordered in advance. The guide then said he could warm it for us, as we had arrived early, but said that 5L would be enough. However, the beer pump on the bike wasn't working, so we then had to share 5L of wine between 12 of us, over 2 hours, and naturally, we ran out. The guide had said we could buy more wine en route if we ran out, but the route he took meant there were no shops where we could buy wine. So, that was a bit annoying, not least because it was a very cold day in February! One other thing to note is that your legs need to be at least 30 inches long in order to reach the pedals, as the seats on the bike are not adjustable. When we arrived we realised that 3 of our group wouldn't be able to pedal! Luckily we still had 9 other people that could, but had there been fewer of us, we would have struggled to get the bike to move - it is really heavy and whilst Berlin is mostly flat we really noticed the extra effort required for even the slightest incline. All that said we all had lots of fun and would highly recommend the Bier Bike! It's a real novelty and people all along our route took our photo! Just make sure you go along completely sober to avoid any disappointment.

i got a good opportunity to participate to this activity with friends. this is a good occasion to visit the city with fun and bier of course. people arround are open minded to this attraction and accept to hop in hop off, and sometimes to drink also, which brings more fun to this.
