Neighborhood: Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.

We went there to see Tanz der Vampire, from Roman Polanski. The theater is great, very well kept and luxurious. Before you enter the show there is a bar that offers drinks and snacks. The restrooms are excellents. If you are in the mesanine it's even better. During the interval you have shorter lines both to the bar and the toilets. We seated in the front row. The view is just excellent.

We bought the tickets at the theatre on the day of the show and the woman in the box office was extremely helpful throughout the process and our seats (Box 5 on the right, seats 1 and 2) were great!
It's a beautiful theatre with many chandeliers, some stained glass and included contemporary modern art pieces in the decor. The whole place was stunning!
Although it was performed in German and we don't speak the language well enough, the fact that there were no English subtitles didn't matter to us. The passionate performance from the entire cast carried us through the emotions of the story and the language barrier didn't matter in the end. They received a well deserved standing ovation which lasted 5 minutes and rounded off a wonderful evening.

Ive been to a couple of shows here and all of them were amazingly professional and fun to experience. The last show ive seen was "sister act" , which I highly recommend to everyone, who likes good music and loves to laugh!
The venue itself is easy to find and absolutely astonishing from the outside and inside.. My favourite theater venue in germany. Entering the theater will make you feel royal! 😏

I'm sure this theatre isn't as old as it looks in terms of decoration but it is a beautiful, classic looking building inside. Gives you that feeling of decadence. Dress up to make it even more a special experience.

I booked an online ticket for Mamma Mia before my visit to Berlin. We went to the show but it was completely in German!! Even the songs! This is an international show, it should be in English and German subtitles. I left the show in the break. I have seen the show before in London so i knew it also from theovie. It should be in English!!!! Anyhow it was a cute place.

This is a great old theater and we had a blast at TANZ DER VAMPIRE (Roman Polanski's masterpiece) - another great show from Stage Entertainment.
Even though the show is a little campy (which they are fully aware of), the production value of this show will blow you away. The choreo, the set design, the costume, the talent on stage... it's all fantastic.

Located in the wonderful Charlottenburg district of Berlin Theater Des Westerns is one of Berlin's premier theatre's, opened in 1896 ,the theatre looks awesome with a beautiful ornately stone carved facade,go of a night when illuminated and this theatre looks superb .
I've been to a few shows here in the past but on our most resent holiday to Berlin we couldn't attend as we had too much to do but I would have loved to see the Ghost production being touted all around Berlin and receiving great reviews.
No matter ,it's still a beautiful theatre and one I highly recommend you visit if your in the area.
Well worth checking out.

Hi, We are heading to Berlin in a few days and were planning to go see Hunchback. There will be 4-5 of us going. Was the theater full? I was wondering, if we waited to buy the tickets there, if we would have to be separated. It seems that there are many seats still available on the dates we are looking at. Thank you
