Earphones are given out as you board the bus. The buses are huge! There is commentary in several different languages. It was a cold day when we did this tour so the roof was on and the bus was heated.
The commentary points out a...More
I have always visited cities (Paris, London, Palma, even my Milan, etc) with city sightseeing, when I came to decide which company to use for Berlin it was a no brainer, City Sightseeing of course! Well, it was one horrible mistake. The busses are very...More
We have a 1 day ticket. What was good was its 24 hours so we exchanged at 13:55 and had until the same time the following day. We found the commentary on the buses very good and learnt a lot about the city. It helped...More
I had done a tour like this in Berlin before and it was very educational. This one was not. You get about 25 seconds of audio at each stop and it is pretty vague. One of the things that was pointed out was the first...More
Staff did not know the bus schedules or gave incorrect timings. The buses did not stick to the schedule given on company Internet site. The recorded guide commentary was very weak and did not give much useful info. Very monotonous and uninformative with guide trying...More

I opted for a 48 hour ticket with optional boat cruise. The bus tour was fine, showed all the main attractions and did a good overview of some interesting highlights. The commentary was annoying with the two commentators pretending to argue. What we only discovered...More
The tour routes were good especially the B route. However, on the A route the commentary kept fallling out of sync with the tour so you had no idea what you were supposed to be looking at. The A route has also changed slightly so...More
Very erratic bus service. Pre-recorded tour guide information was out of sync with the journey and spoke of shops / car showrooms which no longer existed in the streets. Don’t have anything positive to say about this service. Use a yellow bus instead!
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop
down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
The recorded is an improvement on usual commentary as it is a casual conversation/banter between two guys - highlighting interesting sites. The tour that goes into the eastern zone has live commentary - which we didn't enjoy... More
The recorded is an improvement on usual commentary as it is a casual conversation/banter between two guys - highlighting interesting sites. The tour that goes into the eastern zone has live commentary - which we didn't enjoy = commentary provided by a heavily accented guy with apparent little regard for English speakers on bus.
