Amazing cars and bikes. Much of the museum stock behind glass. Many independent garage owners with numerous cars for sale. Really great but shame we couldn't get near the cars owned by museum. Certainly worth the trip.

Easy to get to from central Berlin by S Bahn - 20 mins max and a short walk from the station. All the best cars are there, from 1930's Horsch and Mercs to today's Ferraris and Veyrons - best way to spend a couple of hours mooching round classic cars without that stuffy museum atmosphere. Finish off with a drink... More

Euro 15 cost for tasting of 6 good cheeses and glasses of white, red and port wine. Pretty good value and a good education experience. Some of the others on our course had done it before. I can understand why.

Another 'free' attraction not to be missed in Berlin. Well, I guess it's not really an attraction as it's more of a classic car, bike, luxury car showroom. From Ferrari's to Mini's, French to American cars it's like a dream world!! There are spotless workshops from various car manufacturers around the edge of the building which you can see the... More

This is a working garage wth a collection of historic and some modern classic cars, everything from two DB5 to a current F1 car and everything in-between. Lots of Mercs of course and it seems just so weird wandering around a garage with all these extraordinary cars within. It is off the beaten track a little and not close to... More

If you like cars, it's no way to no go there. Free entry and you can stay next to new and old Aston martin, ferrari etc. But restaurant is too expensive, maybe ok for cup of coffee.

If you are into cars-do it. If you are not that much into cars but like nice stuff-do it. Its free of charge, 10min walk from the Sbahn station. Good coffee shop.

If you are looking how to spend few hours, visit this place and take some photos. Even if you are not very interested in cars - try and you will have fun.

Staying in Moabit

Neighborhood Profile
Moabit
You may not realize Moabit is one of the city’s most central neighborhoods when you arrive at Hauptbahnhof (central station). Surrounded by waterways, Moabit is a quiet island protected from the hustle and bustle of Berlin. The crowds that do gather prefer spending their evenings in cozy restaurants over the party venues offered by other districts. With its beautiful parks, old housing and romantic industrial areas, life has traditionally been relaxed and a bit slower here. But the tone may soon be changing. Reasonable housing costs and proximity to city center are attracting more young Berliners and international visitors. This interest is encouraging new bars, cafés and nightclubs, making Moabit a candidate for most up-and-coming neighborhood in the city.
