I visited this place whilst on a trip to Berlin with my wife. It was packed with classic cars that were stored or repaired there, companies selling classic cars or motor memorabilia. It was well laid out and better than most museums I have visited. Easily accessible from any part of Berlin by public transport & not difficult to find,... More

Fantastic place for any car lovers. We cycled here from the city centre on a relaxed ride through the Tiergarten and enjoyed a fantastic lunch at the on site restaurant which was incredible value for money. We spent a couple of hours here but could have stayed longer such is the size of the place.

I was absolutely astonished by this place. Any dream care you can think of, could be found there. Mercedes 300SL, Porsche 356B, Lamborghini Countach (3x!), Buggatti Veyron, LaFerrari.... The list goes on. All cars were in beautiful condition and you can just walk around them and have a look. Also, the employees were moving some cars. To see a Lamborghini... More

This is one of the best things we have done in Berlin. Even if you don't like cars that much you will most likely enjoy it. They really have a fantastic collection of cars, including LaFerrari, Citroen DS etc. They also have workshops, and hold auctions. It is a bit out of the city center, but it's easily accessible by... A car enthusiasts pilgrimage . Numerous car related businesses housed under one roof . We went on a Sunday when perhaps some of the staff were on days off. Plenty of vehicles on display and for sale with the possibility to see restorations being carried out .

If your ever visiting Berlin i would say to defiantly go here. Its quite difficult to find & looked shut when we went but once we were in, it was very good! They have such a wide range of cars & bikes.

Away from all those tourist places, the Classic Remise is located 10 min away from Tegel Airport and offers you a journey into the history of classic cars of the 70th, 80th and 90th. It is not a museum but a place where you find dealers of various brands and this makes the place so special. You will find a... More

The Classic Remise is a bit of a walk from the U-bahns, but it is worth it. The showrooms contain a vast range of new and old exotic cars which you can most likely see from the photos submitted by other users. About half the cars are displayed in the open where you can actually touch them (no touching though!),... More

A must see place for people with interest in cars. The combination of museum, garage, storage and sales is great. Hundreds of beautiful cars on display in a clean and interesting setup. Best museum experience in Berlin. Even the not so car interested will find this a good experience.

I visited here as part of a business lunch during a visit to a nearby well-known German company in the power generation field. The place is truly amazing, and must be a one of a kind (the only similar place I have been to is the Haynes Motor Museum in Sparkford, Somerset, England). You could literally spend hours wandering around,... More

Staying in Moabit

Neighborhood Profile
Moabit
You may not realize Moabit is one of the city’s most central neighborhoods when you arrive at Hauptbahnhof (central station). Surrounded by waterways, Moabit is a quiet island protected from the hustle and bustle of Berlin. The crowds that do gather prefer spending their evenings in cozy restaurants over the party venues offered by other districts. With its beautiful parks, old housing and romantic industrial areas, life has traditionally been relaxed and a bit slower here. But the tone may soon be changing. Reasonable housing costs and proximity to city center are attracting more young Berliners and international visitors. This interest is encouraging new bars, cafés and nightclubs, making Moabit a candidate for most up-and-coming neighborhood in the city.
