Berlin from below... Descend with us! Experience the history of Berlin from an unconventional perspective! Since 1999, the Berlin Underworlds Association has been offering regular tours into some of the most important underground structures in the city. Although the majority of our tours are in or near Gesundbrunnen station in the north of Berlin, we also offer tours in several other subterranean complexes that are otherwise not publicly accessible.

We did Tour 1: WW2 bunkers. It really brought history to life to be inside the bunkers while the tour guide explains the conditions, stories and artefacts.

We took two tours and they were perfect. Both of them in spanish with Franck being the guide. Just awesome. Ellos tienen mucho material histórico que ayuda a generar experiencias únicas. Muy recomendado el #1 y el M.

Educational and interesting tour from German & Berliner Unterwelten. Was very cool to see how two different bunkers (and even the subway stations) were constructed as shelters during the Cold War. Would recommend if you have the time in Berlin!

So good we’ve been on three of them. All great, guides have all been brilliant. A must if you’re interested in a bit of history.

Berliner Unterwelten is a historical research group that funds its explorations/excavations by giving tours, so this is the "real thing," not some cheesey re-enactment or replica. All the tours sounded interesting, but we chose the Berlin Wall (tour M). This tour lasted about 2 hours...More

You will need to be there before 10am to queue for tickets. I would go in the morning to buy the tickets even if it is for an afternoon tour. We missed out on tickets for the 3.30 tour as we arrived an hour before. One... More
