We had an awesome tour with Laura ( Tour 1 Dark worlds) . We lined up at 1015am and that was enough time to get tickets. We ventured into a nondescript door in the local subway station and were suddenly inside the entry to a WW2 air raid shelter! Guide Laura had an amazing knowledge of the historical facts and... I've enjoyed two tours with this organization. However, I've been burned 2 times now as well. We call to confirm tickets are available, show up almost immediately and then find out the tickets are sold out. Can't buy tickets for the next day - not even on site. It's a waste of time. So, if you want to make sure... More

I signed up for the 90 minute tour of underground Berlin air raid bunkers. It was interesting to see and hear about life in the bunkers.

I did the air raid shelter tour. I thought it might be a bit dull but it was amazing. It covered life in Berlin around the end of the war with the air raid shelter as the focus as well as some good news achievements from earlier times. The shelter was fascinating and the every day life and army artefacts... More

Tour 1 – Dark Worlds. Excellent tour given by a person that obviously cared about what she was saying. Very insightful information provided in a clear and logical format. Got to see areas that the average tourist doesn't realize exists. The only down-side to the tour is that photographs are not allowed.

We pre-arranged a tour through some local German friends, so our group was only five people. Would recommend this route versus a larger group. We toured many underground air raid shelters and our tour-guide was knowledgeable, albeit a bit

In July, 2016 I went on Tour M - Under the Berlin Wall. I really, really enjoyed the tour. The guide was knowledgeable, and I learned a lot about the history of the construction and destruction of the Berlin Wall. There were about 30 people on the tour, but I had no problems seeing or hearing. Great for people who... More

We arrived about 10.30 which was good because there was already a queue waiting to buy tickets from the office behind the kebab shop. The ticket sellers had classic German efficiency though and we had plenty of time to get a coffee before the tour started. We first did the dark worlds tour in a part of the ubahn station... More

My husband and I visited in July. We did the Dark Worlds tour after getting advice from the staff. It was really cool and unique and I would recommend that one. Our tour guide was upbeat and friendly and was clearly knowledgeable on the subject! The line is LONG so make sure you get there early to get a ticket.... More

Joined a group of friends on tour of Cold War fallout shelters. It was very depressing and not well done. All of us agreed that we wouldn't recommend the tour to anyone. Our guide did not communicate well and the whole point of the tour could have been covered in 15 minutes rather than the 1.5 hour tour duration.
