Neighborhood: Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.

It is on my way to work, and honestly, there is nothing special in this place. It might be interesting for you if you are looking for very old household items, but I who like the old remembrances didn't like this place.

I walk it by on the way to work, and honestly, I don't find any items sold there interesting or amusing.

An interesting “Flea market”, where you can find a lot of different things, from some kind of antique nail to large wooden statues. I can’t say that I met there for myself something interesting (although there were several such interesting things), but from time to time I saw here confirmation of one phrase about this place in the guide: if you understand the value of certain things, you can sometimes find really valuable things.

Open on Saturdays and Sundays.
I bought three items to remember my visit to Berlin and the different vendors were willing to negotiate on all three prices. I would much rather buy unique items at a market such as this than mass produced souvenirs.
Enjoyable for adults; may be boring for children.
Everything from clothing to dishes, art work to historic salvage items, jewelry to home decor. Lots of cool stuff.

Great selection, not inexpensive but quality to carry the prices. Scary, German lady with booth next to arch who started shouting at children. Gave us a negative start, but others were nice!

Visited here on a Saturday. I believe it is also open on a Sunday. Of all the five flea markets I visited in Berlin this one at least met the brief. Prices were not too bad and some bargaining OK.

This has been said in several reviews, but this isn‘t really a flea market. It is more of an antique market combined with a tourist trap. The dealers are friendly enough (I didn‘t experience the rudeness others mention), but the prices are unrealistically high and there is no bargaining. Watch your pockets, as there are a lot of thieves around (eastern Med. teens). Really too expensive to bother. Check local listings for real flea markets in the area.

I love flea markets and always look forward to new ones when we travel. Here in Berlin, we browsed three. Mauer Mkt mostly newer stuff, it was OK. I really liked TRODEL and this one Tiergarten S-Bahn Mkt. I love old stuff, nice quality and know a good buy when I see one. I bought several nice things here and was pleased at both of these old stuff markets.

Spent an hour or so looking through the stalls but didn't find much. Lots of large items which we couldn't have taken home anyway. Mauerpark flea market is much much better .
