We found this area by luck, and were so glad we did. A charming area to have a stroll and ice cream etc. charming courtyards with shops and restaurants, hidden off the main streets. Berlin is truly a beautiful city to discover.

The ensemble of eight courtyards is a pleasant place to walk and very different from the rest of central Berlin. A city were heavy and often dull buildings seems to be in accord with the disciplined german spirit. But Hackesche Hofe gives you a nice...More

A must see if visiting Berlin. Fascinating courtyards full of little shops and eateries. Lovely way to spend a few hours wandering around and stopping for lunch.

Near Hackesher-Markt in narrow allees where once Jews comunity was (untll 2nd WW). Now there are many businesses of fashion-stores, restaurants ets. You can enjoy walking in the unique area, sit and look at restorated buildings.

Located in Berlin-Mitte, the Hackesche Höfe is a courtyard complex of 8 interconnected courtyards. The courtyards were designed in Art Nouveau. They are wonderful and worthwhile seeing.

city's most expensive places to live. It is here the
oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence
of some significant transformations, as well. The
gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets
between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given
