This is a narrow, compact street located diagonally off the busy Friedrichstrasse, filled with budget eating joints, cafes and restaurants. Had a brilliant Thai meal at one end of the street and another meal in a Singapore restaurant there. Lots of choice for vegetarians as...More

It's a nice shopping street with cafes, restaurants and a lovely park nearby (Monbijou). One can feel the atmosphere of Berlin very well here. It's always lively.

This is a very interesting neighborhood of the former East Berlin. Berlins oldest synagogue is located here and definitely worth visiting as the German government has fully restored it.

A great area to stay in or visit. Visit the Neue Synagogue, take a walk and look at the amazing murals and street art, go down to the Spree for great views of Museum Island, and grab a meal at one of the many restaurants.

The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights
like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum
Island. The central location makes this one of the
city's most expensive places to live. It is here the
oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence
of some significant transformations, as well. The
gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets
between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given
