Address
Neighborhood: Schöneberg
In 1963, Schöneberg was the center of the political west, inspiring John F. Kennedy to choose this area to famously announce, "Ich bin ein Berliner." Times may have changed, but modern-day Schöneberg still pays tribute to its historical legacies. Once the richest city outside of Berlin proper, the area's affluent past is still visible in ornate housing facades dating back to the Gründerzeit of the 19th century, while residents in fur coats walking their dogs or shopping in high-end KaDeWe continue the tradition with a modern flair. Schöneberg was also once the center of the decadent and burlesque nightlife of the 1920s. It was here that Marlene Dietrich partied with Christopher Isherwood and the first gay bar in Germany was founded. Today, the gay community still revolves around Nollendorfplatz. The overground Ubahn station is even illuminated in rainbow colors, paying tribute to Schöneberg's progressive past.

A really fun, intimate and welcoming venue . Artistes talented and provided an entertaining burlesque show. Drinks reasonably priced. There was an issue with online booking system which was dealt with well but it could be worth checking beforehand . Short walk from u-Bahn. We don’t speak German but that was not a problem

As you walk into the old peep-hole metal door of the club, you are instantly taken back to the 1930s, and a beautiful woman clad in black feathers and make-up, takes your coat at the door (you will later learn she is the main stage performer). The decor is reflected all throughout in this seedy-looking, yet undoubtedly luxurious 1980s nightclub, covered in fitted carpetting and dark and guilded walls that give it that 1930s feel. The little wooden round tables that give it a certain lustre, the feeling of what it must have been like to watch a burlesque performance back then. The programmes are gorgeous and versatile, taking you from erotic theater to naked ballet, acrobatics and high-class burlesque and Marlene Dietricht acts - and smoking is permitted indoors! So my partner and I dressed up for the occasion! I wore a black vintage lace and chifon cocktail dress, and he wore his vintage designer suit. It was elegance all the way for us that night! The female dancers are gorgeous ballet dancers, and after each performance, as the elderly gentleman continues the cabaret with his German folk songs onstage, the very same dancer that was bursting an array of balloons with her cigarette butt onstage, only to expose herself at very end, is taking your order and bringing you drinks! Very quick service with a smile! Quite harmless, as we got to talk to the performers after the show, to compliment them on their show, and and incredibly chic all the way!! We will definitely be going back next time we're there. Entrance fee is rather pricey, and the drinks are not what I would call moderately-priced, but it's classic decadence, so it's worth every penny, especially for a place you could smoke indoors. Check out their website posted here.

We went to the Kleine Nachtrevue with our 16 year old son. This place is very true to the 1920s Berlin cabaret. The dimly lit club is staffed by thelovely Sylvia and Boba who made us feel very welcome and almost like part of the family. There is no entry fee but it is included in the drinks. Whilst there is some nudity is is very tasteful and very berlin.

Berlin has a history of being a naughty city. Kleine Nachtrevue is a safe way to explore the other side of Berlin. My wife was unsure if it is worth 30€ to see the show. It was better than we expected because there was humor in the show.
Kleine Nachtrevue is a small show and it is amateurish. They make everything to entertain you. Showgirls and boys are also very busy waiters.
If you hesitate nudity, this show is not for you. You should make a reservation before. They accept only cash for admission and drinks.

My husband and I often see burlesque shows in DC, as well as having friends who perform burlesque, so I had high expectations and was very excited to see a burly in Berlin. We were not disappointed! We saw the 9pm theater show, "Nutten, Hurun und Andere Prostituierte", and it was fabulous! The venue is very cozy and a bit retro- the perfect atmosphere! There was four ladies and one boylesque performer. Their acts ranged from campy, to traditional with corsets/gloves/tassels, to contemporary. Each was polished and professional. The woman who sang, sometimes with a pianist, had a spectacular voice. We were thoroughly entertained for almost 2 hours with a short intermission. Interestingly, before, after, and at intermission, your servers and bar tenders are the performers. It was fun seeing them transform. I absolutely recommend a visit while in Berlin. A few notes to those unfamiliar with this type of entertainment: if you're looking for a big stage show similar to Broadway, this is not that. Also, if full nudity makes you uncomfortable, also not for you. It's not a strip club either, so if that's what you want, better luck elsewhere. I can not vouch for the late show as we only saw the theater show, but it isn't a continuous full show like the 9pm. The 30 euro per person price was well worth it and is understandable as the performers also are your servers. Go and have a fun night out! There's also a great Chinese restaurant across the street for dinner beforehand!

A warm welcome to a true cabaret experience in Berlin... Charming hosts, funny and entertaining. English and every other nationality warmly welcomed. Felt utterly at ease/comfortable. Cost reasonable. Will definitely return and bring friends too!

i was looking to visit a cabaret/ burlesque show in Berlin on a recent trip for my birthday and the more squeaky clean disney style venues weren't what i was looking for i wanted a more realistic gritty Berlin that was truer of the 1920's hey day. Kleine Nachtrevue did not dissapoint the staff are all friendly and the performers were great not only were they wonderful to watch the acts were often funny and the performers will come and chat to you in the interval. They even do some audience participation as my friend found out. it has a lovley old world charm, from the outside you would.not have a clue whats going on inside, a little discreet door opens after you ring a bell and you are led to a small seated area lit with candles with a very vintage feel to the place it is small and intimate like a well kept secret there were around 10 people when we visited as you really have to be in the know about this place to realise it exists. we had a fabulous first night in Berlin thanks to Kleine Nactrevue they even helped us with getting a taxi back to our hotel when we left after midnight. if youre prudish i would'nt visit as there is full frontal nudity but it is all in good taste. entry cost £25 as we went to the happy strip appeal show at 9pm but this also gives you free entry to the later nightshow.. If your'e looking for a slice of real nitty gritty Berlin Burlesque and cabaret this is definitley the place to visit.

Booked online on the strength of a couple of the more recent trip advisor reviews. What we wanted and were expecting was a classic 1930s cabaret experence. However if you are hoping for Christopher Isherwood and Sally Bowles, or Marlene Dietrich, as we had hoped, then prepare to be disappointed. Nor is it Miss Von Teese.
You are warmly greeted and your coat is taken and you are escorted to your table. The total capacity of the place is around 40 at most. It is very dark and small. That's was not the problem. It was when the show started
There were a couple of moments that were okay but in general the performances were, to be frank, a little on the amateurish side although the stage is the size of a postage stamp and perhaps that was a little limiting.
The audience's response was lacklusture and a good round of applause was hard to come by. The music was via CD through an average sound system with not a classic 20s or 30's tune to be heard.
Not worth the entrance fee I am afraid
We left at the interval and we weren't the only ones. I think that says it all really.

Excellent cabaret - playful nudity. real old style cabaret in fantastic film set location. in fact the owner said it has been used by many a film. extremely friendly and inviting. the girls perform numbers and wait on tables. the owner is very also very friendly- we drank with him and chatty til the very early hours. There is an entrance fee now but drinks are normal price. i beleive it is worth it. if you want a taste of real Berliner cabaret this is probably the best!

My wife and I recently went to this revue bar whilst staying in Berlin for a long weekend.
As the price of the tickets wasn’t exorbitant we thought we would give it a try. You should order your tickets in advance from their website but you have to pay for them in cash upon entering the venue.
The venue itself is compact and bijou and not at all tacky, they have a well stocked bar and all the staff become the performers. We sat at the back and still had a really good view but be warned that if you sit at the front you may well be picked out to take part in once or two of the acts, dancing of course.
Prices for drinks are not hiked up but normal Berlin prices.
The routines are in good taste and some more amusing than others. There is something for everyone and a lot of what is said is translated into English.
Worth visiting as an alternative entertainment establishment.

Very little dialogue - sometimes a little, and sometimes some singing. Some German and some English. Performers are international. The show is mainly about what you see - it's a spectacle.
