Beautiful sea life and a little tricky game at the end of the trip with the mirrors...but it was too mainstream. Inside the aquarium was interesting but not as i expected. Even so,it s a nice experience too be surrounded by fish and water. The price i think it was 12 euro..so not a big loss.

The lift (aquadom) is a cool idea, but expected it much better. The place itself is small and having seen several aquariums, this was on the low end. If it cost less, i would say it would match the price but 17euro for a 30 min (intentionally very slow) walk, it is overrated and over priced.

It was a great experience and definitely worth going! I would go back any time if possible. Loved the huge aquarium with all colorful fish!

it's really small compared to what we're used to (and what we paid for...) they do have some well thought off exhibitions. The fact that it's all in German should be stated somewhere.

The sea life is small but good for younger children. There is lots to see and things to keep them entertained. The Aquadom is well worth a visit and as interesting as a lift and fish were ever going to be. Not a huge amount of information about the fish here but lots within the sea life itself. Overall a... overall this was ok. The main issue I had was it was so cramped and there were so many others there. We didn't feel that we could hang around each section as there were always other people behind us. The kids liked it though and the passport thing with the badges was good for them

Probably the best sea life centre we've been to and we've done them all! Not cheap but it is extensive with the unique 'Aqua Dom ' to finish.

I thought it's just an aquarium. One of best places I've visited in Berlin. Kids and wife loved it as well. Especially spherical aquarium.

As a disabled person, I research before visiting any attraction. Aquadom was a pleasant surprise. Although the queues seemed a little long, it was a contributing factor to the space available and the flow of people. This meant little overcrowding or bottle necks. Very helpful if motobility issues. Front reception staff happy, chatty and willing to laugh and keep the... More

A fantastic aquarium that is very well put together. An amazing array of sea life that all appear to enjoy wonderful and relaxed living. The ride at the end into the AquaDom was fantastic. I'm not into gift shops but this one had me scurrying for family and friends. Not to be missed.

Thank Belinda C

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
