Well, every Madame Tussauds Museum is different from one another and no two are exactly the same. Each is unique in its own way. Well, the museum here is different from others like in London or New York as a number of the featured characters here are from the country like politicians and sport personalities etc. Of course, at the... I am just being real. Once you go there you will know. The things there are so real like - they can spook you. Believe me now. Its excellent stuff. You should go. But try and not get spooked. The figures are predictably, more German. There is a fair assortment of international figures as well. The highlight would be the... More

Good way to fill in an hour or two. If you can get into it and allow yourself to take silly photos with statues then you'll enjoy. Wax figures were incredibly life like, quite remarkable the effort that goes into making them.

Dear TripAdvisor-Member, Thank you very much for your great Feedback! We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your tour through our attraction! It is important to us that our figures look their best. There are less figures than in London, but I liked this one so much more. They look more realistic and there are some historical and German stars. The sceneries are great, you can take some great and fun pictures there, which was not really possible in London.

I purchased the Berlin Pass and had an hour to spare so I thought I would give it a look... Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
