We took a private tour of Berlin with Jeremy a couple of weeks ago on 11/22/18. It turned out to be one of the best city tours I have ever been on. Jeremy was very insightful about the history of Berlin, where its been and...More
Jeremy was an exceptional guide with a unique insight into Berlin. As an American in Berlin for almost 2 decades, he had a unique perspective and knew more details than other guides we had. He has a unique and deep insight into the jewish history...More
Personable as well as knowledgeable I highly recommend Jeremy . We were with him on a walking tour for 5 hours, which I thought would be too long but the time just flew by! A true insider’s view of the City . Thanks Jeremy!
This was my third trip to Berlin and I booked Jeremy for the third time!He is still in top form weaving together facts, dates and history into stories that he shares in a highly entertaining style. And since he is an American expat the added...More
Shlomit was personable, engaging and very knowledgeable. We told her roughly what we wanted to cover (and what we wanted to do on our own) and she put together a four hour tour which ticked all the boxes. Plus she gave us some very useful...More

There's so much to see in Berlin, and frankly it can become overwhelming. Our group of 4 spent 2 days touring with Jeremy and it gave us such a contextual understanding that we would not have gotten otherwise, or from a guidebook. He tailored some...More

My husband and I toured with Jeremy the first time when we visited Berlin in 2011. The experience was exceptional so of course we booked him again when planning our return last month. Jeremy is our idea of the perfect guide: knowledgeable, amiable, approachable. He...More
No Berlin neighborhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays,
thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.

We hired Jeremy Minsberg (the Berlin Expert) and he is. We did a walking tour focusing on both the Third Reich and the cold war. It was great! Jeremy is an American who has lived in Germany for close to 20 years - so there was no communication or translation issue and he understands the American perspective of Germany - then and now. He knows his history and makes it interesting. He can create a tour based on your interests. We selected a tour he recommended for 1st time visitors to Berlin.
Berlin is a great city to visit. I suggest you plan ahead and also get passes to see the Bundestag. And the Pergammon Museum knocked my socks off. Check it out!
