Daniel acted as our Spanish-speaking guide for a walking tour of Berlin. The tour itself lasted a bit over three hours, including a couple of breaks. Daniel was easily the best guide I ever had in many comparable outings all over the world. He was engaging, very polite, and always interesting. He went the extra mile numerous times, producing pictures... More

We had a great experience with the tours of Viva Berlin in our short stay there. We took the Viva Berlin city tour and the Sachsenhausen concentration camp tour, both in Spanish and with our tour guide ELIA. She was great, patience and very knowledgeable and definitely made our stay and touring much better. After the tours she would help... More

This is a great walking tour for 3:30-4:00 hours. The guide, Jorge, has been living in Berlin for a while so he can share local secrets and has a lot of knowledge of the city. Great way to visit Berlin.

On our very first day in Berlin, Jorge gave us a four hour tour around the city; we had asked to combine two tours and he did so splendidly, focusing on what we showed more interest in. Jorge was very knowledgeable, patient and friendly; I strongly recommend this company for a Berlin tour.

Although it is not enjoyable to visit a Concentration Camp Elia led us in such a way that the ours we spent together were worth. Our learning experience was unforgettable. Elia demonstrated deep historical knowledge all way through. Outside the camp her personality was so engaging and helpful that we just have one word to say - thank you very... More

Jorge was our private guide for the "Third Reich tour", he has a lot of knowledge of Berlin history and also was really attentive with our small group of 5. We also took two other group tours in spanish with Viva Berlin (Postdam and Viva Berlin) that were also good. Really will recommend Viva Berlin!

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
