Not what it should be
Jul 2021
Such a shame to have a boring nothing to see car park. It could be such a money spinner tourist attraction for historians from outside like me. The most famous ww2 site of all time such a gem going to waste. I know hitler was evil but you cant delete history it is what it is. And we could leaarn alot from seeing it as it was and not burying the reality.

If you want to know more about the reign of Hitler and his ultimate demise, this the place to visit, absolutely intriguing and educational. We learnt so much.

The museum also details the holocaust, so be prepared for some upsetting pictures, but displaying in the most respectful manner.

Very easy to miss

Not spectacular, just a car park.
We passed it twice and both times there was a crowd there.
In the middle of the Jewish memorial and Berlin mall.

An Unmissable Car Park
Jul 2020
As previous reviewers have stated this is probably the most photographed car park in Berlin. The Germans understandably do not want to celebrate Hitler so his bunker where he and Eva Braun committed suicide has been levelled and made into a car park, the only evidence of its original purpose is a small notice board in the right hand corner of the car park. On a technical note , despite its published address of Wilhelmstrasse the car park is actually in Gertud Kolmar Strasse. ( yes you are right I did have some difficulty in finding the venue)

Not much left
Oct 2019
Other than the sign, which was erected much later (2006), the remains of the Bunker are deliberately anonymous and have also been deliberately levelled (the Russians tried to blow them up)

Probably the world's most photographed parking
Feb 2020
Despite the atrocities commited, this parking lot is pretty much a visited place. There's something odd in a human nature forcing him to pay a visit to such a certified monster criminal place, as well to some of his alike's worldwide.
Although we read and knew we'll see nothing, we went.
It's just a block south from the Jew's memorial (how ironic !!! ) and a block before the Mall of Berlin shopping center.
We wouldn't even notice it, as there's only one plaque with a sketch of it, but we saw 2-3 groups of "walking Berlin tours" with 10-15 people in each. Best proof of the above statement, don't you agree?
So, to conclude, there's nothing to see but a parking lot and a plaque, so no need to go. But, I know, you will.

TIP: If you want to see the real replica of Hitler bunker, go to the "Berlin bunker story" on a "Hitler - how could it happen" tour - much better than this car park.

Went to Spit on It
Aug 2019
I just went to spit on the bunker - mission accomplished! I'm very glad it is kept totally low key. We went here in August 2019 as part of "Alla Tours" all day tour of Berlin from our cruise ship's one day stop in Warnemunde port. (The tour stopped at the nearby Holocaust memorial and did not encourage us to come here, but they pointed the way for those who were interested.)

Uninspiring
Jan 2020
Not a lot to see on this site as its been deliberatly kept low key. A parking not now stands above the bunker and only a small information board to let you know what was here previously.

a car park

Please note, there is nothing to signify the significance of this piece of land - for obvious reasons.

If passing, and you fancy it, visit. If not, don't make a special trip.
