Enjoyed this experience but was definitely below expectations for 3 reasons. First, the “museum” ‘s size is really small. If you don’t really spend significant time at every single station, you could be done in 45 min. Second (my main issue): we visited on a saturday 4PM and despite buying a ticket in the recommend time slot, there were simply too many people around the different themes. The corridors are tight, and there are people constantly fighting to take a proper picture. Overall, for Berlin’s standards, this makes it an expensive (30€ for a family) experience. I would recommend to really pick-up a spot where one can enjoy more freedom to move around. Some of the stations are really surprisingly nice and somehow also educative.

Hi Larry, thank you for your review. We have over 50 exhibits, illusions, rooms and games throughout the museum to occupy yourself with. This is an interactive museum where visitors spend up to two hours. In order to give our visitors as much information as possible about the exhibits, we have staff everywhere who can help and answer any questions you may have. Most importantly regarding your review: We try very hard to regulate the number of visitors in the museum so that it is not too crowded inside and the waiting visitors outside do not have to wait too long. We are sorry if we did not manage to do this in your opinion at the time of your visit. All the best Your Illuseum Team

For about 1 hour plus, you get to witness and learn first hand about illusions (the former name of the museum was Museum der Illusionen).
There's also a small illusions game shop in the entrance.
The place was full as it seemed to be popular with people in every age group, so there was a 15 minutes queue outside.

This museum, although perfect for a rainy day, is really not worth the money you pay to be in for 20 minutes maximum.
It's great fun whilst it lasts, but there is really nothing to brag about.
Would be great for younger children but nothing longer than an hour.

Thank you very much for your feedback. Very sorry to read your words. We are working hard on keeping our customers happy and stay interesting. We renovated a few month ago to keep the museum attractive for visitors and got a lot of nice feedback from happy school classes, families and of course tourists from many countries, which we are very happy about. In order to give our visitors as much information as possible about the exhibits, we have staff everywhere who can help you and answer any questions you may have. We have over 50 exhibits, illusions, rooms and games spread all over the museum to occupy you. This is an interactive museum where visitors can spend up to two hours. All the best Your Illuseum Team

This attraction may be a little bit small but don't rush! If you read and test everything you'll learn new things. Kids will enjoy even more if you explain things properly. Much to see, test and learn. We spent here 1,5 hours and took many great pictures.

We absolutely loved this museum. We spent ages in there trying out all the illusions. Such a cool little museum. Definitely recommend if it’s a rainy day and also if you’ve got some extra time

The museum is funny and you can spend time laughing with your friends or family.
A little bit disappointing because we stayed only 20 minutes but we we were expecting more activities.
Regarding the price, it’s a little bit overpriced but there are discount for students.
Anyway, if you’re in Berlin and you want to laugh you can do that but take it like a gallery and not like a proper museum.

Myself and some friends visited this museum after we had had a couple drinks following a trip to a concentration camp (we thought something light-hearted would do us good). I believe the tickets were 12 euro each for a standard adult admission, a little pricey for the size of the museum in my opinion.

We had a good time, this place is great if you want to update your profile picture! I wouldn't necessarily visit it again, but if you have some spare cash and some spare time in this area, it's not bad.

Hi Anna, thanks a lot for your review and also thank you for visiting our museum. We have 50 exhibits and illusions and our staff is located all over the museum and loves to explain the illusions and exhibits to our visitors. People can definitely experience more than taking a picture for their profile ^^ I.e. they can learn how our mind tricks us all the time and that nothing is as it seems, no matter if you had a few drinks or didn't ;) Have a good one! We had so much fun taking photos there with various illusions. We felt like children again and got lost in this wonderful world of optical tricks and illusions. Great location and very friendly staff. Strong recommendation to everyone wanting to experience something completely different and unique!
