Rude Bastards tour of Berlin

This tour of Berlin is much different than the usual politically correct nonsense. Think of this as the politically incorrect tour of Berlin. So bear that in mind when going on this tour. It will be full of bad language, bad taste jokes and, yes, of course, a history lesson! No snowflakes allowed!!!

We signed up for a two-hour workshop creating a group graffiti. Our group comprised four adults and two teenagers. We picked a six-letter word and the instructor then taught us step-by-step how to turn the word into street art (there were many more steps than we expected). Everybody enjoyed the workshop a lot and we were very happy with the final product. Along the way we learned a lot about the graffiti culture in Berlin. Unless you bring a jackhammer and a crane, you won't be able to take the artwork home. Street art is ultimately transitory, but the memories and photos remain - and graffiti photos printed on canvas look awesome in your home. We highly recommend this activity, especially on a sunny spring or fall day.

Dans six mois de voyages partout en Europe (malgre la Covid) c'etait la meilleure chose qu'on a fait! It is now some months since we painted our graffiti in Berlin - we were there in March, just before Europe went into lockdown. We had planned six months of travel across Europe and Asia from Scotland to Japan. In the event, we spent five of those months trapped in France. When we reflect on the month that we did travel, and the month that we spent travelling around France in July, we are all agreed that this was the stand- out experience. We jointly - a family of six - did one piece of graffiti. Sylvain encouraged and coached, and together we created an artwork of which we are all enormously proud. It was a real triumph of team work and a real moment of us all working together. I cannot recommend this highly enough. Sylvain was very "hands off" and let us get on with things, but he was also creative and encouraging. We cannot thank him enough and are only sorry it has taken us so long to write this review. C'etait plus facile de taper en anglais, avec mon clavier anglais.... mais pour ceux qui ne parlent pas anglais, le graffiti avec Sylvain etait impeccable. A ne pas manquer si vous etes a Berlin.

I organized this workshop for my daughter‘s 18th birthday and her friends and her had a blast (14 kids in all). „So much fun!“ was her comment when she came home. The contact with the organizer (Sylvain) was seamless, friendly and professional. Great experience!
