Had the please of doing a historical Berlin walking tour. Beth was our guide and she honestly made the tour such an entertaining and knowledgeable trip. Thanks so much, learnt a lot and was a great way to learn about Berlin.

Enjoyable 4 hour walk to see major historic sites and buildings. Good explanations and fun to do. Well worth the money.

Brilliant tour, would highly recommend this trip. Our guide Barnaby was extremely knowledgable, passionate about his subject and made the whole experience fantastic. It was a very hot day but 4 hours went past very quickly. 100% recommend Barnaby and the tour.

We loved Berlin Historical Walks! Sean was an exceptional guide whose modus operandi was not to take pictures of everything without cause, but to teach us what Berlin had to say. We loved finding out the degree to which Berlin is a city of moving chess pieces. Definitely would book again if I were to do it over!

It was an excellent tour! Although it’s not my firs tour in Berlin, I discovered so many new interesting things about it! Sean’s English is very clear and easy to understand. I loved the humor he found behind historical aspects) We laughed so much!

The tour Highlights of Berlin was great!! Very informative and fun. The guide (Sean) was very friendly and knows a lot of stuff about the city. I definitely recommend you to book a tour with them if you want to know interesting facts about Berlin!

The tour was amazing! Sean – a historian and author first thing, is a cool guide too as he offered a top-class tour of Berlin. His knowledge of history, culture, economy, politics and arts is exceptional. He gave us a brilliant potted history of Berlin with photographs and an excellent map of old Berlin, flavored it all with fascinating tales, delivered with a dash of humor. Sean not only took us to places that you’d never find yourself or on a big commercial tour, he weaved all these places into an informative historical and cultural narrative that helped us understand modern day Berlin as well as the rich history of the city. Without having done Sean’s tour the second day of our visit we wouldn’t have had the framework needed to make the most of the city’s sights and culture. Sean been great travel enthusiast himself, travelling for 25 years was more than happy to answer all our questions and was very helpful with recommending other bits and bobs to do while in the city. Highly recommended!

Had a very informative and interesting tour of Sachsenhausen concentration camp today. If anyone is visiting Berlin any time soon I would highly recommend one of Sean's guided walks. We could've listened to you all day. Thank you!!!

I booked with Berlin Historical Walks with Sean about 3 hours before we were supposed to begin. I had a conundrum with my train catching fire and missed my original tour with a different company. I was confused by the Haptenhouf, tired, and a grouchy Grinch by the time we met up. Sean was very kind, helped me find all the things I needed to, to feel more settled about my being in Berlin. I had come to Berlin with the feeling that I would hate it, but due to his deep historical knowledge of Germany and Russia and comparing to things that I know from my own country....I dare say he achieved my challenge of changing my mind of Berlin....Germany....and it's people. If you are ever in Berlin and want to maximize your experience on minimal time & know the little-known facts about what shaped the war that changed our history and wiped out nations --- book with Berlin Historical Walks. I promise you, you won't regret it.
