Great visit. Björn subtly knew how to talk about the big story by illustrating it with the small one, the one experienced at the level of a woman, a man, a child. He was perfectly able to adapt to children (teenagers).
The organization was also very easy.

We particularly enjoyed the visit with Adrien who, in a few hours, was able to help us discover Berlin where we had never been. Thanks to his dynamism, his erudition and his good humor, he made us want to deepen our knowledge of this very charged history of the city.
The planned route allowed us to wander at our own pace through the neighborhoods to which Adrien took us while telling the story with great openness to discussion.

A fascinating discovery of Berlin with Bianca, who knows how to adapt her speech to teenagers and who wonderfully breaks down the historical layers of this city.
An equally stunning discovery of street art, over 3 hours, rich in anecdotes. The visit is participatory and exciting.

We were in Berlin for a short time and wanted to have an inside of the history of the city and visit some highlights places.
Bjorn was our guide for our bicycle tour.
He came directly to our hotel for the meeting which was great for us.
As a berliner, Bjorn has a great knowledge of the city and took us in some places we would not have been able to discover by ourself.
The great thing was that with his capacity to link the places with the history, we were able to understand much better the evolution of the city.
He conducted the tour in French as my mother didn't speak German or English. And he also adapted to our desire to see certain places and riding pace.
I would definitely recommend Bjorn for any of your tour in Berlin, it was a lovely experience we will remember for long. The highlight of our stay.

Visit as fascinating as it is friendly with Bjorn, by bike, on the history of the wall. Bjorn combines his personal history with his mastery of history and his experience as a native of the country.

When we did a schooltrip to Berlin we have been on a street art tour on the second day. This way my favorite activitie of this week. At first we walked throw the streets guided by a graffiti artist for round about one hour. He showed us for example the difference between legal and illegal graffiti and the different styles of graffiti. He also presented us the own language of these artists. After that we drived to the Mauerpark. While some pupil painted over some graffities with white color we got introduced in how to paint with a can. After that one of the graffiti artists painted a word on the wall and we could paint it out. I could recomend it to everyone who is interested in modern art.

This was an excellent tour. Our guide took us on a fascinating walk around Berlin looking at some of the city’s best urban artwork. We travelled all over by foot and train and saw many off best urban sites. Highly recommend.

Yes, you can do all the standard sights in Berlin, and you should. But to really get a deeper understanding of the cities unique history after WW2, don't deny yourself a tour with Berlin Like a Local. Eric took us trough parts of the city you probably wouldn't find yourself, and even if you would, you'd still be missing out on the historical context and juicy anecdotes Eric shared with us. An entertaining, deeply interesting and well organized addition to any Berlin trip. Booking, payment and logistics of pick-up and bikes are clear and easy. great stuff.

We booked two tours on two different days. The first one was a walking tour in Berlin with an insight on the history of Berlin from the beginning of Berlin till today. Xavier is a walking history book and he took time to tell us all we wanted to know. Xavier is very passionate about the history of Berlin and we learned a lot. The day after we went on a bike tour around Street Art. Completely new and unkown for us. But thanks to Alice, we will never have the same look to a city anymore.

We have been coming to Berlin - the best city in the world! - many times. I wanted to understand more about techno - Berlin’s anthem - and the amazing clubbing scene in Berlin. This was an afternoon tour - we didn’t go into any clubs - but Eric was brilliant. He told us about the history of techno - how it started and evolved, and then took us to some of Berlin’s techno clubs. Eric told us about each one - it’s particular features and character. We had a brilliant time. Eric is a top top recommend!
