Omar Ibn Al-Khattab Masjid in Berlin, the capital of Germany

Built in 2008, the Omar Ibn Al-Khattab Masjid is a part of a six-storied building. The masjid has a glass dome and four small minarets. The masjid has modern architecture and traditional Islamic marble carvings towards the interior.

This is a turkish mosque, near form metro station and jat a walk to east side gallery or berlin wall museum. The mosque have 6 floor, there is a restaurant and shop inside the building. Prayer room is very nice, large with the nice lamp. Woman section is in 3th floor, with the toilet and ablution room at 4th floor. The masjid has modern architecture and traditional Islamic marble carvings towards the interior.

Came across Umar Ibn Khattab Mosque as my twin brother Stephen and I were pub and bar hopping around this part of town.
An impressive looking structure, the glass dome looks superb ,set over six floors ,its certainly hard to miss ,makes for some great photographic opportunities, I believe the mosque is relatively modern being constructed in 2008 and serves the large Turkish population of the Kreuzberg district.
Easy to locate along Wiener Straße,well worth checking out if your in the area.

Beautiful architecture. Very nice atmosphere and hygiene is important. I will plan to visit this center more often, after all there are daily lectures which are translated into German and Turkish.
