I was here for the concert and I am never coming back. yes, there are signs "it is forbidden to smoke" but EVERYBODY was smoking and there is no proper ventilation. It was unbearable. It was so smoky that you could barely see the stage....More
Went to a concert here and had a blast, although I may have to agree with other commentators here : the room that the concert was held at was incredibly hot, there was no air ventilation and the sound sometimes lacked in quality.
But as I...More
Saw a rock concert here. The outdoor sitting space is a nice place to chill out. Inside space it was hot with no ventilation; it wasn't the best experience as the crowd was sweating profoundly. Plus, the sound balance was a bit off. My advice...More
My first time visit to Berlin was for a gig at Astra. Great venue for the music, and a generally cool place to spend some time in. Reasonable bar prices also, so just a good experience all round. I will try visit again on my...More
We walked into this place and immediately liked the vibe. The bar has several different rooms inside of it, each with different music, and a different vibe. They were featuring an electro swing night, and there was a swing dancing class going on in the...More

When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit
buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
