I visited on a Sunday morning and there were only a few visitors. I think most people were enjoying the coffee at Starbucks next door. The show was very informative, engaging and well made. Entry is €5. There is a small gift shop with postcards,...More

This is a very new museum. On our trip to Berlin for museums, we just happened upon this one. Just 100 meters or so from the Gate, it has an amazing 20 minute intro video that is worth the admission price. They suggest that you...More

In comparison to the extortionate cost of going to the cinema in the UK, this exhibit (it is an exhibit more than a museum) seemed good value for money, despite being a small exhibit. It is primarily a very impressive video presentation projected onto the...More

In the midst of security cameras and the police and the two embassies (American and French) lies this 18th century monument reflecting the craftsmanship of that era. Get a table in Startbucks facing the tor during sunset to enjoy a magical evening.

We saw the show two times back to back and where touched to tears - especially the reuniting was told so well. Growing up in Denmark during the Cold War (born 1970) I remember the divided Germany - uniting this nation was unthinkable and everyone...More

I don’t normally post reviews but this 20 min audio/visual experience is a must do on Berlin. It is evocative, informative and moving. We loved it - including my difficult to please 16 year old. Check it out. Great value too at 5 euro.

We really enjoyed our visit to the museum. The movie was super cool and it was fun to learn about the history of the iconic gate. I want to especially point out that Bernardus and Miriam were amazingly helpful and were incredibly kind.

They feel that because this is hi-tech it is great. It quickly glosses over the devastation and heartache of families split apart. I moves with speed onto the bringing down of the wall.
