Market square, a place where local farmers came to sell their products in the old time. You can still buy fresh food ingredients here. Next to square is the Maria Chapel, catholic church. Close by is also Falkenhouse, highly decorated building with Tourist information.

as we were there on a sunny day, the place was very busy, there is a local market selling flowers and other goods. The St. Mary's Chapel is right in front of you, very impressive and so is the House of Falken a beautiful Baroque...More

The Christmas market here is quaint but gorgeous for a visitor. Plenty of stalls in the square and then extending into other streets. Smaller than other markets in Germany but still worth a visit. The food all smells amazing and the lights at night are...More

It's beautiful, rustic and speak volumes of Franco Germaness. Its 10 minutes walk from the train station and you need to respect the German planners for taking care of visitors.

As with most cities in Germany, the market square is always interesting, Surrounded by cafe's and restaurants, relaxing place to sit, enjoy some Franconian wine and people watch.

Easy to stroll the pedestrian areas - but most of shops were tourist centers. It was fine for the short 45 minutes we had.

There are some great cafes and restaurants in the market square area. Bustling little market too with some lovely stalls. The city Tourist Information is in the centre of the market square.
