The place is huge. The number and quality of decorations and toys is outstanding. Prices are also "outstanding"... Unfortunately, I was not able to visit their museum.

WOW! This is never-ending Christmas! Fantastic! Just like visiting Santa's workshop outlet for Christmas decorations and supplies. Words don't do justice to the magic of this place; both for the gift shop and for the history of Christmas celebration/traditions in different countries over the years. There is a fee to visit the museum, but the shop admittance is free. They... More

The Christmas Museum has the same entrance as the Christmas Shop, do not take one for the other. In the Museum (6€ entrance fee) they explain us how the Christmas celebrations as we known them began, and how Christmas ornaments evolved. It's very interesting, and there are some amazing collections of old ornaments. When you leave the Museum you go... More

I usually write a lot on my reviews...not for this one. I simply felt like a child in there. The entrance is small and guarded by a german trademark ... an oversized Nutcracker. The interior well it like the Santa's factory. Pretty big and everywhere you look there are Christmas decorations and wooden toys. I must say that it's not... More

The Christmas museum is beautiful. The exhibits depicting the history of Christmas decorating were done very well. After visiting the museum the Christmas shopping in this store is incredible.

As I said, it is a shop, not a museum. Nevertheless, I enjoyed it. You can visit it in August and still feel like it's Christmas. There's a magical atmosphere.

Rothenburg was the eighth city stop on our great rivers of Europe river cruise. We had a program director tour guide who led us on a fascinating tour of Rothenburg and its historic attractions. The Christmas Museum is actually a combination museum and retail Christmas store. There is an admission fee but it was included in our shore excursion. Both... More

The museum was completely empty when we went there - all people were only visiting the shop (which is a very smart choice). The shop (located in the same building) itself is absolute amazing btw and you should be prepared that you won't leave without buying some nice christmas stuff. The museum costs 4 euros/pP and if you're not 100%... More

If you love Christmas this is a must see. It's enchanting and even in July a visit will put you in the Christmas spirit. Couple it with a shopping spree at Kathe Wohfahrt for the ultimate holiday experience.
