A wonderful assault on the eyes.

So much choice, wonderful wooden creations and everything you could want for you Christmas celebrations. Make sure you have enough baggage allowance to get it all home.

Its an ok shop, in the heart of a touristy area. Perhaps at Christmas when the market is in full swing its a little less so. Its a quick 10 minute visit but I wouldn't go out of my way to go again

From the outside, it looks rather small however once you enter the store you are transformed into this Christmas wonderland that is very large indeed. The displays are simply magnificent and breathtaking. Photos however are not allowed which is a bit disappointing. A must see if you are in Rothenburg.

Kate Wohlfahrt is a fun Christmas store. So many tree decorations & nutcrackers. Worth shopping around for a great German Christmas treasure.

If you can't find something for your Christmas tree here, you aren't looking! There are a huge number of ornaments of all kinds, a dizzying array of the German Christmas Pyramids, Nutcrackers and smokers. Needless to say there are a large number of tour buses that flow through here. The town is extremely beautiful, save some time to stroll around.

If you like Christmas, you will love this place. It is Christmas 365 days a year. Although Kathe has shops in several cities, this is the flagship. This place is amazing with ornaments of every kind and every price. The handmade items include smokers, nutcrackers, strings, and everything and anything Christmas. It is worth a visit just to look around,... More

I've always loved Kathe Wohlfahrt's shops but this one is so special. A must see for every Christmas lover regardless of age. The hardest part is limiting yourself.

If you love Christmas, do not go here at the beginning of your visit. Like me, you may end up never leaving! It is simply magical and brings out the little kid sort of wonder and amazement!

If you're looking for souvenirs or gifts, this is the place to go to. Find traditional souvenirs from coocoo clocks to beer steins or classic German christmas gifts in this store. Don't miss out the Christmas Museum on the other side of the road. It's a must for foreign visitors.
