The Gerlachschmiede was a beautiful house on a lovely street. Great spot for photos. I wasn’t sure about the history, but it was very pretty and easy to visit from the old town.

A step back in time all the architecture is amazing, its like a picture off a chocolate box,a walk around the old walls is recommended, and then stop off in one of the restaurants for coffee and some cake

In a wonderful town full of beautiful historic buildings this one truly stands out. The best way to view this unique building is from up on the city walls which can be relatively quiet.

This is such a cool landmark to see and take photos of. If you want a photo with nobody in it I would suggest you rise early in the morning and beat the tourists crowd. When we were last there, it was under renovation, but...More

Unique, charming, and a mandatory photo op. For another perspective, go up into the adjacent medieval wall and check it out from above.

We had seen pictures and models of this beautiful and historic house, so we were excited to come across it in person while walking the town wall. This was a great way to see it from above. Wish we had walked to it and went...More
