This museum tells the story of the Riesling crater and other meteorite impactcraters. Highlight for me was the Apollo 16 moonrock.

I wanted to know a bit more about the impact crater that the area is famous for, but there are only so many lumps of rock that I can look at before getting bored. I guess if you are more of a geologist you might...More

No attempt to provide any assistance to non Germans. They had moon rock and slices of many meteors. But a totally unhelpful woman takes 4 euros off you for nothing: a rip off if you are not fluent: eklig!!

As mentioned in other reviews the main labelling is in German so I did a minimum of preparation. In fact we were provided with a document summarising the exhibits and we found it fascinating. The visual displays are stunning with powerful use of technology. We...More

There is no audio aid provided. All the info are also written in German only. As such, it won't be good for non-German speakers. There are many exhibits here but unfortunately, we couldn't appreciate any due to language barrier.
