We enjoyed our first visit to Nördlingen and to the St. Georg Dom, which literally dominates the town and can be seen for miles when approaching the town. It is a catholic church but rather plain for one apart from the very elaborate an beautiful...More

As with every city that at some time claimed to have the tallest tower, you have to climb this one too. It’s easy enough. Only 90 m

Nice architecture. Well-preserved. Nothing surprising. Great for a photo at night. Would you believe this church actually has geologic significance?

It is very beautiful the city centre of Nordlingen! The buildings are being restored and it keeps to the traditional look. It is light in colour the city, and even some beautiful pastel colour houses. I am really fond of this city!

I can't get enough of the history in Europe so being in a medieval town, this was extra special. I feel as though all these churches have the same number of steps in the tower - which is well worth the climb for the stunning...More

Like every other cathedral of Bavaria in Gothic style. It is ok, not that impressive though. I've seen better.

You must be fit to climb all the stairs but the view worth it. The church is very beautiful and you should visit it too. As all places in Germany, this closes at 06pm.
