The museum occupies only four small rooms and a balcony overlooking the nave of St. Anna's. We read and looked at everything, and it only took about an hour. There were multi-media and interactive elements, but less than a handful of artefacts. The museum did...More

I felt that this exhibit did an excellent job presenting the events and effects of Luther's public stand toward aspects of the Catholic church. It covers historical and political background which contributed to the rapid spread of reformation ideas. Luther was not the first nor...More

I wasn't expecting to find this as interesting as I did. It's an old church tucked away in Augsburg's inner city. There is a fascinating museum about Martin Luther - I'm not religious, but found this museum well worth a visit.

Very well done free museum on the 1st encounter of Luther with the nuntius of the pope. The setup is from the same age and comes as close to the 16th century as possible.

This was an interesting piece of history and Lutheran heritage. We didn't spend too long there but it was worth the visit!

Well, history is all around when you visit Augsburg. But Martin Luther's little staircase is a little treasure you shouldn't miss. Get the story of Luther's historical stay in Augsburg, and you will feel the magic of history.
