Now this church is a little different from the others being a Lutheran church. Not as pretty and ornate but I found it charming as it was such a contrast from the Roman Catholic style churches we have seen. For a small fee you can...More

The main reason to visit this church is to climb the belltower. They charge a nominal fee - 2 - 3 euros. The view from the top is spectacular. The interior of the church doesn't have much artwork.

Great true example of Protestant design. Has been recently renovated to its original design. Protestant churches never have the glitz of Catholic churches, but the beauty lies in its plain interior. We went up the tower, only €2 for adults. It is an adventure in...More

Beautiful old church. Incredible woodwork throughout. We paid 4 Euros for a family of 5 to climb to the top. The stairs are tricky- a few tight spots, but well worth it- the views were spectacular!

We paid 2 euro per person to walk to top of steeple. Not sure how many steps total but wasn't too bad. We were given a panoramic map and could pick out the other churches in town.

This Protestant church is situated on the south of the Haidplatz with rather plain looking exteriors but rich woodwork design interiors. The wooden choir loft is above the sanctuary and pipe organ is encased with dark wood frame. There is no glittering of gilded statues...More
