The guide was quite enthusiastic and knowledgeable about many aspects of the city. However, he was at times coarse and profane. He spent much time talking about beer and wine but reflected contempt for Christian institutions.

The tour guide was good, but the organization not. We were a group of 21 (team building) and the guide hat another group of 20. The guide did not even know we were 21, he thought 9. He arrived late because of the train and all the tour was in a pushy hurry. We did not know there were another group, too many people, no time for rests, toilets, a short meal, no considering our group's wishes. It was a pity, should have taken a guide only for us.

Very sorry that our guide was 5 minutes late that day. Please note that there is a big difference between booking a private tour or booking a group tour. You were booked on a group tour, which means that there will be other people on the tour and the tour cannot be tailored specifically to your personal wishes. That would be unfair to the other people on the tour and is not a realistic expectation for this product. It certainly would have been better to book a private guide for your group but for whatever reason your group did not do this. It is unfortunate that whoever made the booking for you misinformed you about the situation, however that is completely beyond our control. We can only provide our customers with the tour that they book, which in this case was a group tour.

Our experience on this tour was simply top notch in every respect. Matt served as our guide and was simply outstanding. This tour takes around 4 hours total from the time you arrive at the Hauptbahnhof train station and meet your guide, make the train/bus ride to the Dachau site, and then return back to the train station. We were quite tired from a full day of traveling and Matt was extremely accommodating. He took breaks and slowed the pace at times to allow us to “catch our breath”. The Dachau site is quite spread out and requires a lot of walking so we were very appreciative! Matt’s expertise and ingratiating attitude made for a very educational experience. What happened at Dachau was awful, as that camp served as a blueprint for all other concentration camps in the Third Reich. Matt took us through the history and details and was very thorough and respectful of all the lives lost there. Seeing Dachau and learning about its history was very important to me for many reasons and I am so glad I got to accomplish that through Matt and this wonderful private tour. If you are interested in Dachau, sign up for this tour and ask for Matt. You will be so glad you did! PS - As a bonus, Matt recommended some local restaurants to try and they were superb! Be sure and take advantage of his culinary knowledge and good taste!

We had a fantastic tour with Kevin, visiting the old town highlights up toward the castle, and then on to the nazi rally grounds and back again. Loads of sights along the way and plenty of photo opportunities. Kevin‘s tour was greatly informative and thanks to his tactful humour and artful delivery I will actually remember plenty of the information! No problem either to answer anyone’s questions.
