Very sad that in this day and age animals are being kept captive. Used for entertainment. Please leave them in natural habitat. Black spot on this beautiful town

Cool animals, lovely nature and relaxing way to spend a Sunday. Do wear comfortable clothes and shoes, the zoo is pretty big and will take you some time to stroll through it all.

We visited the Zoo on 04.08.2019, there were seemly very less animals, no lion, kids have enough space to walk but if you are expecting to view animals, then you will be disappointed.

The zoo is planned out like a garden park, and animals are spread out within the zoo so do expect to do some walking. Both of the playgrounds are really fun, especially the one next to the petting zoo. The children were able to feed...More

Having three children I have visited many Zoo's but the Tiergarten Nurnberg is one of my favorites. The park and petting zoo are almost like a theme park within the Zoo. There are many wonderful places to eat and prices were affordable while quality remained...More

A zoo with shows and play areas. We spent an entire day with our boys 3 and 5 yrs old - and they loved it. There are many car-parks in walking distance. Arrive early to catch the shows and beat the crowds

This zoo is set in a woodland on a hillside. The animals have large natural enclosures. We saw the lions and tigers being fed which was amazing. The children’s zoo area is the farthest from the entrance. There is a train but this wasn’t running...More

The Zoo is big and very nicely built in somehow like jungle, which is a bad idea on a cold day. There are many many beautiful animals, and several feeding shows, we enjoyed the dolphins one so much. There's a very nice restaurant, but a...More
