Was overcharged at the counter. For some reason they forced me to buy two tickets although I was clearly travelling alone. I tried explaining in my not-so-good German but to no avail. The gardens itself was nice but that spoiled my mood unfortunately.

Really impressive! We wish we had more time before shutdown, to explore: we had the chance just to see the Glasshouse (thoroughly, though) and the parterre with surroundings – nevertheless, it is gorgeous!

Visited the botanical garden following a tour of the Nymphenburg Palace. It is an easy walk from the Palace Gardens. Much of the garden is not a finely manicured botanical garden, so don't expect super-fancy. There are plenty of wooded paths, with plants in their...More

It's a great place for a stroll or a break from the city. Nothing special, you won't be impressed by this. Botanical gardens in other cities are more impressive. If you're only here for a few days, skip this place.

We got to the botanical gardens through the palace park, which in itself is beautiful, with a watercourse and cascade. The gardens cost us €5.50 each to get in and initially it doesn’t look like it is very big but once you start to explore...More

Yeah definitely, you can walk around the grounds outside for free, and it's still beautiful. But the indoor areas are worth paying to see at any time of the year.
