Our guide, Kevin, was excellent. He knew a lot about Munich and history in general, and he had a lot of good humor. When he started the tour, explaining about how Munich was founded, we told that we had been on a tour with Sandeman and Aileen the day before, and she had told a lot about the same. Well, then I will not bore you with the same sights and stories, he said and improvised a tour along the Isar river. That was both fun and interesting. In general I highly recommend Kevin and Mike's Biketours.

Our guide, Kevin was excellent at adapting the trip to our interests. We had our 2.5 year old with us and they were prepared with a kid seat for him. Highly recommend this company and this tour for visiting Munich

15 years ago, I took a Mike's Bikes tour of Munich when I moved to the city for a year-long stay, and I remember having a great time and getting a good overview of my new home. This August, I was back in Munich as a tourist with my husband and our seven-year-old son. The tour was just as I remembered, and Kevin was a friendly and very knowledgeable guide. There were four small children on our tour and he was great with the kids (including mine, who had tons of questions!). Kevin was thoughtful when it came to the safety of the kids, and altered the route a bit to keep us away from busier streets toward the end. As a parent, I really appreciated his flexibility. I highly recommend Mike's Bikes tours to anyone visiting Munich. A fun way to cover lots of the city, including the stunning English Garden, in a few hours' time. Our son even asked if we could do the tour again the next day! Many thanks to Kevin and everyone at Mike's for a fun family-friendly experience. NOTE: a previous reviewer mentioned that he/she felt pressure to tip. That was not our experience at all.

Tour was loads of fun, great morning out. Seat was wet through which soaked into my pants, recognized this almost immediately before leaving but no tour guide interest in swapping. The tip pressure was too much, constant at every stop. I was happy to tip reasonably, got to the end and said I only had xxx could I tip less, but guide said very generous and held hand out. It was so awkward I just handed it all over. Months later I’m still feeling like this soured what was otherwise a great outing.

Hi and thank you for your review. We do have a tipping policy however this particular guide did take things to far and we let him go at the end of 2019 as this not the lasting impression we would like to leave with our guests. We sincerely apologize for our guide tarnishing your experience and should you ever come back to Munich we hope we can provide you with a better all round experience whether it be for a bike rental or any other tour we offer in 2021. Kind regards
