Neuschwanstein Castle and Linderhof Palace Day Tour from Munich

4,657 reviews
Bavaria is famous for its fairy-tale castles, built by King Ludwig II, the “Mad King,” and this tour from Munich visits two of the most beautiful. Enjoy a stop and optional tour of Linderhof Castle; marvel at Neuschwanstein Castle, known as the “Sleeping Beauty” castle with a stop and optional tour; wander Hohenschwangau village; and admire the bold murals and medieval houses of Oberammergau.

Main reason we went through the English Garden!! It was fun watching all the surfers. I think we watched them from all angles (sides and on the bridge).

If you’re walking through the Englischer Garten, it is well worth spending some time watching the surfers attempt to ride the wave, fall over, and then queue up to try again.

Allow time to idle and watch the local young folk try and ride/surf the waves. Quite fun to watch as you pass on your way somewhere.

You just have to visit this wave surfing in a park. Grab a Wetsuits and a board queue up either side of this FAST flowing river jump in and see how many seconds you can stand before catapulted down the river very entertaining for the onlookers.
