This tour excels because the guide not only tells you what you are seeing, but places it within the context of history and the Bavarian culture. Make sure you take at least €20-25 per person for food/drinks during the tour if you want the full experience.

To give you a little heads up, Ozy is not your average tour guide you might expect when doing a city tour. Everything about him is different starting from his looks to his passion and love for the job he does. We were a group of 16 doing a city immersion along with a beer and schnapps tour in Munich. Imagine our surprise when a smiling dark colored tall guy with a bavarian hat on his head showed up as our Munich tour guide. I have been in Munich more than half dozen times but I still learned a lot that day. Despite his looks Ozzy is a true to the core Bavarian and goes above and beyond to share his love for Bavaria and lecture you on the heritage culture and tradition of the Bavarian people. His accent is more of an American than British which is even better for groups where English is not a first language. Our tour officially lasted for 3 hours but given the fact it was a drinking tour that should have ended at 6 pm, Ozzy stayed with us drinking and partying well after midnight. He is interesting, fun, knowledgable and full of character and comes highly recommended from everyone that was part of our group. If you wanna do a Munich City Tour do not miss out on this guy.

In a group of three we were privileged to be immersed into everything Bavarian by our guide, mentor, and companion over a 5 hours of easy walking around Munchen. It was also fully interactive engaging all of the senses - taste, touch, sound and sight. Would recommend this tour to anybody who wants to experience Bavaria and Munchen

I always tend to start a new city with a walking tour of some sort. This did not disappoint. Oz was a wonderful guide, full of information and humour that instantly put his guests at ease. A great introduction to Munich. Highly recommended.
